On 12 May, the Department of Basic Research of MOST organized a panel discussion of evaluation experts on state key laboratories for the sector of information science in Nanjing.

The experts fully affirmed the prominent developments made by state key laboratories for information science in scientific research, talent cultivation and academic exchange within the last 5 years, commenting that state key laboratories had made significant contributions to promoting the S&T and solving major problems in economic and social development.

At the same time, the expert panel also put forward many valuable suggestions and advice on the overall arrangement of the state key laboratories and future development.
