In order to further promote energy saving and emission reduction and drive the healthy and rapid development of the industries of new light source and new energy, the first multi-industry and multi-sector “Seminar on Solar Energy for Semiconductor Illumination” was conducted successfully in Yangzhou on 16 May.

The delegates agreed that the industry of solar energy for semiconductor illumination is faced with a good development opportunity in spite of some outstanding problems. This conference provided a good platform for information and technology exchange and industrial cooperation for the solar energy and semiconductor illumination industry.
