On 23 May, Mr. Mick Anderson, Chairman of the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) led a delegation of 5 to visit the Aloe Industry Committee of China Association for Promotion of Non-Governmental Sci-Tech Enterprises (hereinafter called Aloe Industry Committee) in Beijing, China.

YU Jian, Director of China Rural Technology Development Center of MOST briefed the IASC delegates on the profile of the Aloe Industry Committee and the development of the aloe industry in China and made a brief introduction on market access to China’s aloe food.

Relevant experts of the Aloe Industry Committee and staff of its secretariat were present at the meeting. The attendees also exchanged information on issues relating to the product certification carried out by IASC and correlated technical index testing.
