In accordance with the relevant provisions of the China-Czech intergovernmental S&T cooperation agreement and the protocol of the 37th China-Czech Commission Meeting on S&T Cooperation, the China–Czech Commission on S&T Cooperation met for the 38th time in Prague, Czech on 18 May 2007.
WU Zhongze, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of China led a delegation to Czech from 15 to 20 May and co-chaired the meeting with Marek Mora, Vice Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, Czech.
The conference discussed and passed the new S&T cooperation plan between China and Czech. Through assessment by experts of both countries, 47 of the applicant projects were listed as 2008-2009 bilateral governmental S&T cooperation projects, which mainly relate to agriculture, biology, materials and medicine.
