At the invitation of the Slovakian Ministry of Education, WU Zhongze, Vice Minister of Science and Technology, led a delegation of MOST to visit Slovakia from 21 to 23 May 2007 and, jointly presided over the 4^th China-Slovakia Commission Meeting on S&T Cooperation with Dr. Jozef Habanik, Slovakian State Secretary of Education in Bratislava, Capital of Slovakia on 21 May.

At the conference, Vice Minister WU gave a detailed account of China’s S&T reform and medium and long-term S&T development plan and exchanged ideas with the Slovakian side on the collection, evaluation and implementation of China-Slovakia S&T cooperation projects.
