On 22 May, the 2007 High-level Forum on Synergy of Production, Education and Research was staged in Beijing. Hosted jointly by MOST, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, All China Federation of Trade Unions and China Development Bank, this forum centered round the theme of “Hand-in-Hand Innovation and Win-Win Cooperation”, deliberating on the effective mode of combination of production, education and research, relevant policies as well as the construction of a new innovation system. More than 200 delegates from relevant government agencies, enterprises, universities, research institutes, intermediaries and other circles participated in this forum and 11 experts of relevant fields delivered speeches.
