The international seminar on “Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC), Co-production, CO₂ Capture and Storage” hosted jointly by the Department of High and New Technology Development and Industrialization of MOST and the Bureau of High-Tech Research and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences was held in Beijing on 23-24 May 2007.

The delegates and experts delivered reports, exchanged information and conducted in-depth discussion on the role of alliance in IGCC and co-production development, status-quo and prospects of IGCC and co-production and the research agenda of China's CO₂ capture, storage and utilization.
