On 8 June, Beijing Science and Technology Commission and Beijing Branch of the Bank of Communications jointly hosted the conference to promote “Loans with Pledge of Intellectual Property Rights”. Both cooperated to introduce Zhanyetong business of securing loans with pledge of intellectual property rights since Oct, 2006.
So far 1 hundred million Yuan loans have been granted to 15 enterprises to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Such a move was made according to the Outline of the National Medium and Long-term S&T Development Plan (2006-2020) and its supporting policies. After the promulgation of the Outline and relevant policies, 8 policy documents and 2 pilot policies have been successively drafted and publicized.
