Vice Minister CAO Jianlin, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 14th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), listened to reports on the Congress preparation given by Deputy Director General (DDG) MENG Shuguang of International Cooperation and DDG ZHANG Zhihong of High-tech Development and Industrialization.

Executive Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Deputy Director LIU Xiaoming of the Beijing Municipal Committee of Communications (BMCC) updated CAO on the general plan and detail preparation. So far over 80 countries have signed up for the Congress, with more than 140 exhibitors taking up over 80% exhibition area and 794 papers collected. The Congress is expected to stage 200 plus meetings and forums, reach out to the public and let them know more about intelligent transport.
