At the invitation of Director-General Mathhias Ruete of EU Directorate-General of Energy and Transport, Vice Minister CAO Jianlin headed the Chinese delegation to attend the Third China-EC Steering Committee Meeting on Galieo-GNSS in Brussels on July 16-19, 2007. CAO also met DDG Peter Zangl of EU DG Information Society and visited IMEC (a R&D center in Microelectronics). Consensus was reached on holding the 4th Steering Meeting before 2008 Olympic Games in China. GUAN Chengyuan, China’s Ambassador to EC participated in Steering Committee Meeting and the summit meeting prior to it.
