On the evening of October 16, 2007, Minister Wan Gang met in Kempenski Hotel the CEOs of German enterprises in China such as Bayer, Allianz, Daimler, Lufthansa, BASF, Siemens and ThyssenKrupp as well as members of the Board of German Chamber of Commerce and had dinner together with Dr. Michael Schaefer, German Ambassador to China. During the meeting, Mr. Wan took questions from German enterprises such as global warming, energy conservation, emission reduction, application of science and technology in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, IPR protection, etc. This meeting enabled the German enterprises to further understand the situation of China and enhanced their confidence to invest in China.
