The 2008 Awards Ceremony of the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was held in Beijing on October 29th. State Councilor LIU Yandong sent congratulations to 57scientists who were granted awards. Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress YAN Junqi, and Deputy Chairman of CPPCC WAN Gang presented the awards to the laureates.

Prof. FANG Jiancheng of Beihang University won the S&T Achievement Award, and 38 scientists including WU Xiaoping won the S&T Advancement Prize, and the 2008 HLHL S&T Innovation Prize went to 18 scientists including CHEN Jianfeng. The average age of the recipients was 56.5.
