On January 9th of 2009, Vice-Minister of Science and Technology LIU Yanhua visited pharmaceutical enterprises in Tianhe Bio-incubator in Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, including Clover Biopharmaceuticals and Yuansheng Bio-Pharmaceutical. After listening to the reports from the enterprises, LIU expressed his hope that Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone explore a way to develop an innovation system from incubator, work hard to create a system of public technology platform, and to realize a leapfrogging progress from developing bio-pharmaceutics to bio-economy. According to LIU, MOST will keep following and supporting the bio-pharmaceutical development of the Zone.
