Vice Minister SHANG Yong met with Herr Jorg Hennerkes, German State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Transport, Construction and Urban Development on January 25, 2007. The two sides exchanged ideas on a range of issues, such as clean energy, toll collection system on expressways, energy-saving buildings, maglev technology and the Galileo program.

After the meeting, heads of the two delegations signed Joint Statement on Production and Utilization of Bio-fuel in Traffic and supplementary documents to MOU on Alternative and Regenerative Energy in Traffic.
