Party Secretary and Vice Minister LI Xueyong and Vice Minister LIU Yanhua of MOST met with XIAO Gang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank of China (BOC) and BOC Deputy Governor CHEN Siqing at the BOC headquarters on June 29th, 2009. Both sides reach consensus on S&T finance cooperation.
The two parties agreed to integrate scientific, technological and financial resources, create a synergy between S&T and financial innovation, take active steps against the financial crisis, and support the development of high-tech industry and technology-based enterprises. In the principle of complementarity and joint development, MOST and BOC are to carry out all-round cooperation in national S&T development .
