The S&T Award Conference of Henan Province was staged on July 19, 2007. Awards were bestowed on significant S&T achievements and those who had made important contributions to the province’s S&T advancement. Awards included the first award of outstanding S&T contributions in Henan, as well as the first and second prizes of S&T progress in 2006. Vice Minister SHANG Yong attended the meeting with the presence of Henan’s Party Secretary XU Guangchun and Governor LI Chengyu.
