On 7 August 2007, the 11th coordinating conference of MOST/GEF/UNDP on Beijing Demonstration Project for Fuel Cell Bus Commercialization in China was held in the office building of Beijing Bus Group. Present at the conference were representatives from the China Office of UNDP, China Project Office, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Bus Group, Beijing SinoHytec Co., Ltd, China International Center For Economic and Technical Exchanges, DaimlerChrysler (DC) and Ballard Power Systems.
Beijing Bus Group and Beijing SinoHytec Co., Ltd briefed the development of the fuel cell bus demonstration project. DC presented information on the European HyFleet fuel cell bus project. The participants also discussed in detail the follow-up issues after the conclusion of the two-year Beijing full cell bus demonstration.
