MOST Registers Scientific Instruments Developed Indigenously

Since the 9th Five-year period, MOST has launched the major project of Scientific Instruments R&D for the Key Technologies R&D Program. Over the last 10 years, this project has achieved breakthroughs in a batch of key or common technologies, as well as nurtured bases for scientific instruments R&D and commercialization. A number of instruments have been widely applied in relevant fields, creating a sound social climate for indigenous R&D efforts.

The registration of instrument R&D results is expected to systematically sum up the achievements and experience accumulated in implementing the project during the past 10 years, further promote the indigenous R&D efforts in this field and improve China’s capacity of R&D and production of scientific instruments. Such impacts will in turn provide equipment and technical support to resolve the hot and difficult issues in China economic growth.
