The Ministerial Forum of the 14th World Congress on ITS was held in the Beijing Exhibition Center on October 10, 2007. The Forum was themed as “Informatization Promotes Resource-efficient, Environment-friendly and Innovative Development in Transportation”. Hosted by ZHOU Haitao, chief engineer of the Ministry of Communications, the Forum was addressed by representatives from China, India, Japan, ROK, Norway, Sweden, the US, and the European Commission.

The participants sent positive message to fully utilize the opportunity, enthusiastically exchange ITS experiences and achievements, and foster favorable environment for ITS, so as to provide safe and convenient transportation service.
