The 311th session of Xiangshan Science Conference was held in Beijing between 22nd and 24th Oct. 2007 with the theme of “Functional Supramolecular systems--Self-assembly and Nanotechnology”.

The session focused on the current development of supramolecular systems and their future trend, providing an impetus to exchanges of innovative ideas and international collaborations in cross-disciplinary study. It is believed that the discussion would promote the development in this field.
