At the invitation of the United States Department of Agriculture and Foreign Ministry of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Vice Minister LIU Yanhua headed a delegation to visit the US and Trinidad and Tobago between 20th and 30th Oct. 2007.

In the States, the vice minister and his delegation attended the 3rd George Bush Sino-US Relations Seminar, China-US Agricultural Technology Cooperation Work Team Conference, Sino-US Sustainable Agriculture Seminar and Sino-US Biological Energy Seminar. In Trinidad and Tobago, they met leaders from the ministries of foreign affairs, agriculture, science and technology and higher education and visited the E-TECH Park.
