Recently, the General Expert Panel for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in Industrial Sector held its first working conference in Beijing. Experts present were from industries including energy, transport, material, automation and remote control. 

The experts thoroughly exchanged their opinions on the position, problems and working plan of their industries in the national campaign of energy conservation and emission reduction. They express their desire to contribute their expertise, enhance cross-disciplinary cooperation and study, and develop a more comprehensive and effective technological development proposal for energy conservation and emission reduction while improving their own professional competency to implement the S&T Action Plan of the General Work Plan for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction issued by the State Council.
