Vice Minister SHANG Yong held talks on the proposed joint Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) laboratory with his Italian counterpart, Mr. Zucchelli who was in Beijing for the International TCM Conference for Cooperation in Science and Technology on 28 November 2007.  

Both sides expressed their willing of building the joint lab into a world class one. To this end, they agreed to provide more support to the lab in its construction and R&D so as to create more favorable conditions for its future development.
