To facilitate the implementation of the key project on energy conservation and new energy vehicles under the 863 program in the 11th Five-Year Plan period, and to help China’s R&D personnel fully informed of the domestic and international development trends of technologies, the Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China) and the Project Office of Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicles co-hosted the 2007 Seminar on Technologies for Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicles in Beijing on 19-20 November 2007.
Experts and technicians exchanged views on the latest international developments and R&D of electric vehicle technologies, and provided assistance and inspirations to the country’s efforts of tackling the technical bottlenecks. This seminar effectively facilitated the implementation of the key project on energy conservation and new energy vehicles.
