To vitalize Tibet through S&T, one of the key tasks is to strengthen the training of its S&T management personnel and technicians. In the afternoon of December 1st, the Department of Policy, Reform and Regulations of MOST, together with the S&T Department of Tibet, Shanghai Municipal S&T Commission, launched the 1st Talent Training Project for Vitalizing Tibet through S&T, so as to enhance learning, training and cooperation between Western and Eastern China, and provide inherent impetus and human resources for the S&T development of Tibet.
At the end of the launching ceremony, Vice Minster Wu Zhongze made a keynote speech entitled “Sticking to Indigenous Innovation with Chinese Characteristics & Building an Innovative Country” for the participants of the Tibetan S&T Management Training Program.
