In order to promote the cooperation and exchange in ICT under the EU Framework Program 7 (FP7), and for mutual development in future internet （IPv6）, “China-EU Cooperation Conference on FP7 & Future Internet” was held in Beijing on 19th November, 2007.

This conference was sponsored by the Directorate-General for Information Society and Media of the European Commission. China Science and Technology Exchange Center participated in conference organization. Over 600 ICT experts and academicians from China and Europe attended the Conference and exchanged ideas on the trends and prospects of the “Future Internet (IPv6)” technology as well as the way to enhance the cooperation between the two sides in the area of IPv6 under the EU FP7.
