MOST held on January 10th the Hand-over Conference of the 21st and 22nd Science and Technology-based Poverty Alleviation Teams. Vice Minister LIU Yanhua presented awards to the excellent members of the 21st poverty alleviation team before making arrangement for the new team.

Vice Minister LIU pointed out that the science and technology community contribute a lot to poverty alleviation in China. The science and technology-based poverty alleviation team could promote local science and technology work and improve the livelihood of impoverished peasants. LIU requires the new team members make field studies and maintain the integrity.
