2007 MOST Working Conference on Technology Training Programs for Developing Countries was held in Chongqing during January 7-8, 2008. The event was organized by the Department of International Cooperation, MOST.

MOST organized 34 technology training programs for developing countries in 2007. 774 students from 73 developing countries attended the training, increasing by 41.8% year-on-year. The training participants learned about related technologies and China’s scientific advancements. They also established close contact with their Chinese counterparts, ready to boost the international cooperation. 

While summing up the previous year, the meeting also identified specific demands for the next stage.
