Several projects have been implemented in Henan Province with the input from the Fund of Agricultural S&T Achievements Application. The projects are targeted at applying a technology, developing a brand, enhancing an enterprise and improving living standards of rural farmers. With explorations of applying technologies, the projects give impetus to the modern agriculture and the new countryside.                         

Of all the projects implemented in Henan, 21 were undertaken independently by enterprises while the rest were jointly carried out by research institutes and universities. Enterprises have emerged as a major force in applying agricultural technologies.
