Minister WAN Gang paid a visit to Mozambique at the invitation of their Ministry of Science and Technology from Jan, 17 to 22, 2008.

During the visit, WAN and his counterpart, Massingue, signed the Cooperation Agreement on Science and Technology between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Mozambique and both expressed great confidence in the prospects of future cooperation.

In order to put into practice the cooperation intentions, both sides agreed to hold the first Sino-Mozambique Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology in the first half of 2008.
