11 candidates were selected as "Inspiring People" of 2007 which is an event staged by China’s Central Television (CCTV).

Mr. MIN En’ze, winner of National Supreme S&T Award, received the honor of “Inspiring People" of 2007. Academician MIN is a celebrated petrochemical catalyst expert and also the founder of China's oil refining catalyst.
