A team led by Vice Minster CAO Jianlin went to Yingshan County, Hubei Province, one poverty alleviation county designated to the MOST, inspecting and guiding scientific and technological anti-disaster and disaster relief efforts from Feb.19th to Feb. 20th.

After hearing the work report on S&T efforts in anti-disaster and disaster relief from Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Commission and watching the video on disaster-hit Yingshan County, the team led by Vice-Minster CAO went to Longtanhe Village, Jinpu County, and Wuyunshan Village, visiting the victims, investigating disasters and discussing relief efforts and post-disaster reconstruction with local officials and residents. On behalf of MOST, Vice-Minister CAO Jianlin donated RMB800, 000 relief fund to Yingshan County Government.
