The modern agricultural technology domain in the State “863 Program” has made great breakthrough and successively bred two new maricultural species, namely “Zhong-Ke-Hong” bay scallop and “981” gracilaria lemaneiformis, promoting maricultural variety improvement.

The new “Zhong-Ke-Hong” bay scallop is characterized by favorable shell color, high growth speed, etc. Currently, its breeding area has been expanded to over 100 thousand acres, with an average increase of 14.68% in production and 60% in economic benefits.
