The Department of Basic Research called on an expert panel to study the feasibility of the plan to build the State Key Lab (SKL) on Aerodynamics lately.

Approved by MOST in August 2007, the lab aims to meet major national demands by researching on computational aerodynamics, basic issues of low-speed aerodynamics, and key technologies related to the national grand platform of aerodynamics.
