Jointly hosted by MOST and the Environmental Protection Agency of the US, the 1st China-US Workshop on Environmental S&T Cooperation was held in Beijing from April 1 to 3, 2008. Experts from both countries gave introductions to national environmental S&T policies and R&D efforts, and held in-depth discussions on drinking water security, new technologies and environmental technology verification (ETV) and green community.
