Thanks to the support of the 863 Program, significant technological innovation and breakthroughs have been made in the development of modern agricultural technology. Accomplishments in the field of precision agriculture were obtained in key technologies, major equipment, technology integration and demonstration, the pattern of promotion and organization.

Currently 39 patent applications have been made, along with 18 software copyright applications, 4 new variety applications, 10 new products related to precision agriculture, and 135 published research papers. 39 organizations have taken part in the R&D projects.
