From April 10th to 12th, the MOST Department of Policy, Regulations and Reform and the Administrative Centre for China's Agenda 21 held in Heilongjiang province the Symposium on the Pilot Projects of the Training in Technical Innovation Methods.

At the meeting, relevant leaders of the Department and the Center introduced the background and general deployment of the research and training promotion by the MOST in innovation methods and proposed principles and requirements on carrying out the pilot projects of technical innovation method training on the local basis.

Through discussion, it is identically agreed that to carry out training in technical innovation method was of great importance. It was also stated that people should earnestly prepare pilot plans and positively promote pilot projects while closely combining relevant work with the innovative enterprise pilot projects and the scientific and technological management training work currently implemented in various regions.
