In the research on precision agriculture equipment conducted in the area of modern agricultural technology in the State “863” Program, 10 types of new precision agriculture equipment and relevant products adaptable to various production scales in China were successfully developed.
The highlights of such equipment and products include low cost and practicality. They can adapt well to the precision agriculture production under both decentralized and scale operation conditions in China. They lay a digitalized foundation for the digitalization and scientific implementation of variable prescriptions under different production conditions and promote the development of precision agriculture technology from theory to application.
