On May 6th, 2008, the awarding ceremony of Words of Students----a collection in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the WANG Zhengben Scholarship program, was held in Beijing.
The book includes the articles written by 38 Chinese trainees supported by the project and the program staff, telling their experiences, thoughts and feelings during the study. The book is an evidence of the development of the scholarship program and a bridge for the future generations to get to know it.
Mr. WANG Zhengben started to provide financial aids to MOST staff studying aboard since 1982. He has helped China bring up a batch of science and technology management talents and promoted the China-U.S. communication in science and technology, economy and trade.
