Organized by MOST, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Railways and the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, ITS China was officially set up on 14th May in Beijing.

The Association aims at promoting ITS in China to expedite the development of transport in a safe, orderly and sustainable way.

10 ITS associations worldwide have sent congratulations to China, including the US, EU and Japan.
