Through vigorous efforts of the technicians, MOST completed the building of a virtual class in Beichuan Middle School in three days and the first virtual class during the reconstruction of the quake-hit zone was put into use on 27^th May.

The computers of the class, donated by PKUnity NC together with 4,500 sets of digital books, have adopted chips and software developed by China under the 863 Program. They cannot only provide services such as multimedia teaching, net surfing and digital games, but can also get remote support from Beijing.
