On May 27th, the China National Center for Biotechnology Development held a workshop on innovation of approaches for biological science in Beijing.

Experts held that as important impetus for new technology revolution, the innovation of approaches in life science and bio-technology will boost China’s independent innovation capacity and power leapfrogging in related disciplines and industries. Therefore, the government should enhance the research in this field and give prominence to it in related S&T plans.
