On June 26th, 2008, the Second Health S&T Summit Forum was held in Beijing with “priorities and orientations of vaccine research” as its theme. Eminent experts and entrepreneurs including Academician ZHAO Kai were invited to address a number of topics, such as key technology, product development, application and relevant policies and regulations. Enthusiastic discussions were also held at the forum.

With an eye to developing medical science and technology for people’s health, this event focuses on frontier issues, the spread of health-related scientific knowledge and exploration of hot topics in this field. It is hosted every two months and addresses one topic each time for discussions on a disease or a cutting-edge medical S&T issue.
