On July 18th, the Department of Basic Research and Administration Center of Basic Research, MOST, held a Stem Cell Symposium in Guangzhou to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 973 Program.
The participants exchanged ideas on the huge impact of 973 over stem cell study in China and the development trend of the research field.
They also agreed that, against fierce international competition, China should take the “growth and reproduction” research project as a platform to integrated domestic resources for leapfrogging development in stem cell.
