On July 8, the Human Genetic Resources Administration of China (HFRAC) held a meeting on approval of second-quarter international cooperation programs in this field. Six candidate programs were reviewed. 

The meeting also discussed the establishment of an expert panel, research for mapping out Regulations on Human Genetic Resources Management and promotion of related legislation among others.
