In implementing the “High-yield Grain S&T Project”, MOST set up 27 pilot-lines and 56 production lines for specialized fertilizer, pesticide with high efficacy and low toxicity, seed-processing and specialized machine. This has provided effective technological support, and promoted technological progress and development of related industries.

The Project greatly raised grain productivity and farmers’ income in pilot areas, facilitated sustainable development of regional economy, ecology and society, enhanced overall grain productivity and better guaranteed sustainable development of agriculture, strongly boosting the sustained and steady development of national economy.
