The Inter-ministerial Committee on Innovative Method was inaugurated in Beijing on October 9th. The Committee was formed by MOST, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, and China Association for Science and Technology. Vice Minister LIU Yanhua of Science and Technology hosted the meeting, which was also attended by members of the Committee.

Innovative method is essential to innovation. It is another important measure after a series of major actions such as policy making, infrastructure construction, guidance to enterprises on innovation, and human resources training so as to implement the National Medium and Long-Term Plan on Science and Technology Development.
