The launching ceremony for Wuzhoulong hybrid passenger car demonstration was held on the sideline of the 10th China High-tech Fair on October 11th. Minister WAN Gang and Vice Minister ZHANG Laiwu of MOST, and Mayor XU Zongheng of Shenzhen attended the ceremony.

WAN pointed out in his speech that MOST took the lead in demonstrating electric vehicles under the 863 Program in major cities including Shenzhen and Shanghai and will equip ten more cities with thousands of electric cars. The promotion demonstrates the government’s determination in facilitating new-energy vehicles.
