Since initiated at the end of 2006, the study on functional genome and proteome has proceeded smoothly, completing the tasks as stipulated in the contract and making breakthroughs in some subjects. 

The research team has developed key technologies with proprietary intellectual property and realized technology transfer to enterprises. Under the project, two essays have been published in Nature, one in Nature Protocols and one in Nature Structure Molecular Biology. The project also plays an important role in innovating research methodology of genomics and proteomics.
