On November 9th-16th, MOST held a workshop in Guangzhou on promoting S&T innovation in urban and rural areas. Most participants are mayors in charge of S&T.

The workshop is aimed at achieving harmonious development in urban and rural areas through S&T, raising the S&T awareness of local officials and their capacity in promoting rural businesses, modern agriculture, and increasing farmers’ incomes.
